Hello! I'm Marilu Chacon, a proud mom of two amazing kids—a daughter who's passionate about sideline cheer and a son who loves the thrill of baseball. Being their biggest fan is one of my greatest joys, and it's been a privilege to support them in their journeys on and off the field.
For 14 years, I worked as a Process Engineer in the cosmetic industry, where I honed my skills in project management, problem-solving, and optimization. I loved my work, but over time, I realized that achieving a healthy work-life balance was crucial, especially as I juggled a career and raising my children.

I made the decision to step away from the corporate world to focus more on my family and explore a new path that aligns with my passion for creativity, technology, and flexibility. Now, I'm embarking on an exciting journey toward becoming a Front-End Developer, where I can leverage my extensive experience in project management and apply it to designing intuitive and user-friendly websites.
As I work toward mastering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies, I'm excited to bring my attention to detail, organizational skills, and love for problem-solving to the tech world. My background in engineering has given me a strong foundation in processes and workflows, and I’m eager to translate those skills into building seamless digital experiences.
When I’m not coding or cheering from the sidelines, you can find me enjoying family time, exploring new hobbies, or dreaming up new ways to create a harmonious balance between work, passion, and life.
